About the notebook
A ledger for the next reading
A reading corner for careful questions, honest annotations and sources worth revisiting. Browse the seven notes in order or begin with the question that is useful today.
What belongs here
The subject is everyday reading: a book chapter, an essay, a technical explanation or a source you need to compare. Each note begins with an ordinary difficulty and offers one practice that fits on a page. The aim is a usable record, rather than a complete account of everything a reader encounters.
How to use the notebook
Start with one question and one source. Read a note, try the suggestion and decide whether it helped. The contents list links to every reading; each article also points to its neighbours.
Examples describe habits, not a required system. A paper notebook and a plain text file can both work. Keep only the structure that makes a later return easier.
A quiet format
The collection uses ordinary HTML, a local style sheet and local illustrations. Pages require no account or script. Short sections, a contents list and a narrow text column support both a quick visit and a slower reading.
